Only One Master

With His grace you lived nine months

in the warmth of your mothers womb

Then you came into this world

and were given a destiny

He laid forgiveness onto your wrongs,

covered you with His favors

Thanking Him is enough to receive more

In return, He asks only that you surrender to Him

In return, He asks only that you surrender to Him

The Way is thus to surrender, and to thank Him

His attributes are better than our qualities

With the pleasures of life, we might forget

But in an instant He could erase our reality

So whoever you might be

Please go on believing

Doing right, avoiding wrong

Free yourself from all masters except him
